Driving Directions from Cancun Airport
From Cancun International Airport, take Highway 307 south to Tulum. It is a wide double lane highway all the way to Tulum.
As you arrive to Tulum, you will approach a four-way set of traffic lights with a large supermarket called Aki your right. At these lights turn left and head east toward the beach road (the sign says To Boca Paila). You will come to a roundabout intersection with a police casita on your left side. Veer right and continue driving south along the beach road for 10.6 kilometers, taking caution with the speed bumps (‘topes’), which are often not easy to see at night. Olas is the last property driveway on the left side before you reach the large concrete archway which is the entrance to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere. If you go through the arch, you have gone too far. You will notice two signs at the driveway entrance of Olas, one that says ‘Propiedad Privada’ (private property) and one with the 10.6 km marker. Turn into the driveway and drive all the way in to unload your luggage, and we can show you where to park your car once you have arrived.
