Driving Directions from Cancun Airport

From Cancun International Airport, take Highway 307 south to Tulum. It is a wide double lane highway with a straight shot all the way down to Tulum Pueblo. As you arrive to Tulum, you will approach a four-way set of traffic lights with a large supermarket called Super Aki on your right. At these lights turn left and head east toward the beach road (the sign says To Boca Paila). You will come to a ‘Y’ intersection stay to your right and continue driving south along the beach road for 10.6 kilometers, taking caution with the speed bumps (‘topes’), which are often not easy to see at night.*

Directions from Tulum Airport

From the Tulum International Airport you will exit the airport and it is 12 kilometers to the main Highway. Take a left onto Highway 307 north toward Tulum for 25 kilometers. Once you have reached town you turn right on Av. Kukulkan (there is a Farmacia on the corner). Take Kukulkan for 5 kilometers until you come to a ’T’ and a stop sign at Boca Paila Rd. (known as the Zona Hotelera / Beach Road). Turn Right. Driving south along the beach road for 5 kilometers, taking caution with the speed bumps (‘topes’), which are often not easy to see at night.*

*Olas is the last property on the left side before you reach the large concrete archway which is the entrance to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere. We are located after Rancho San Eric and right after Casa Chic. If you go through the arch, you have gone too far.
