“It is a nice, hidden, fairytale place where your sleep sound machine is the sea itself - it is that close! Loved the 'community breakfast' - a nice way to get to know the fellow guests. One of the nights we happened to catch a glimpse of a turtle just coming out of the water to lay eggs during nesting season (middle of July). Nature is seriously happening here - LIVE. :) Amazing architecture of the two buildings, also loving the fact that this is a sustainable house with solar panels.”

I love the fact that it is situated right on the beach of Caribbean sea and next to pure nature, Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. Clear turquoise water to swim in and long stretch of soft white sand to walk on, what more can you desire for a restful break from concrete jungle. Olas Tulum offers tranquility with no judgment so just chill out and be yourself to enjoy the eco-friendly natural space. The Olas Tulum team is highly hospitable, I love their Mexican warmth and authenticity. I have stayed at Olas Tulum twice on my own, it is my best getaway from the big apple.”

“Olas is an amazing, boutique hotel at the end of the main strip in Tulum. A beautiful very private section of the beach, warm hospitality, comfortable rooms and great breakfasts await every day. Easy walking distance to some of the restaurants on the main strip, or simply walk down the beach. We stayed for 4 nights and wish it could have been longer. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to Tulum and have a quieter stay then some of the bigger hotels provide, while still being able to enjoy any nightlife and other attractions in the area.”
